Coming up next for the Romans it’s a huge Bank Holiday double header. This Saturday we travel to Essex in search of our fourth win on the spin, before returning to Bath for another highly anticipated Somerset Derby clash with Weston-super-Mare at Twerton Park on Monday.
Chelmsford City v Bath City
Saturday 25th August
Rod Stringer’s Clarets finished 3rd in National League South last season, before suffering Play Off heartbreak for the sixth time in the past ten years. That loss came at the hands of Hampton & Richmond Borough with whom Chelmsford drew 1-1 on Saturday thanks to an injury time spot kick, leaving them 13th in the division with just one win from their opening five matches.
There is an unofficial supporters coach travelling to Saturday’s match – please contact Martin Brush on 07881 728689 or see website for more details.
Bath City v Weston-super-Mare
Bank Holiday Monday, 27th August
48 hours later it’s Derby Day at Twerton Park as we host Marc McGregor’s Weston-super-Mare. The Seagulls have lost their last three matches and currently sit 21st in National League South with only a single point to their name from their opening week draw with Truro City.
Join us at Twerton Park on Monday for what is sure to be another enthralling encounter and buzzing crowd, and help cheer the City boys on to another victory!
