Age UK Bath & North East Somerset new official charity

Following the recent success in raising money for local charities over the past few seasons Bath City will be supporting Age UK Bath & North East Somerset next season. Last season the club supported Genesis Trust raising over £2000 for this locally based charity.

Age UK B&NES is excited to be Bath City FC’s 2017-18 ‘Charity of the Season’. We have a vision that all older people live a healthy, happy and fulfilling later life but too many older people are isolated, lonely, anxious and living with poor health. Each year, we support over 12,000 older people in B&NES. We run classes and clubs (including Walking Football!), and life-changing services such as befriending, getting people home from hospital and free information and advice. But we can’t do it alone, with the help of Bath City FC we can reach more older people in the local area and continue to make Bath & North East Somerset a great place to grow old. We are a local independent charity and every penny we raise supports older people in B&NES.
