City Players Gear up for High Profile Friendlies

Bath City this week unveiled their new kits for the 2017/18 season with George Rigg and Frankie Artus modelling the the home and away shirts respectively at a launch on Monday evening. The home shirt is maintained from 2016/17 but with new sponsors Vass of Bath on the front and Stokes Masonry on the rear. The away shirt is brand new for this season, following an online vote with over 800 City fans picking a darker blue shirt with white shoulders. Team coach, Jim Rollo was also in attendance showing off the club’s new travel polo and track suit top. The shirts and training kit are available to buy online at www.bathcityfcshop.com.

The kit launch comes in the week before The Romans begin their pre-season campaign. Tuesday 11th July sees them welcome Bristol City of the Championship to Twerton Park for one of the biggest of the bunch. Having ended the season comfortably clear of relegation, Bristol City have signalled their intent for 2017/18 with the club record signing of £5.2m man Famara Diedhiou – and fans will be hoping to see him turn out in Twerton.

Later that week, Exeter City are the visitors on Friday 14th when the Brian Lomax Supporters Direct Cup will be up for grabs. The Cup is competed for between community-owned clubs, and marks one of Bath’s first matches in its new community-owned era. The match will feature the Three Daggers Craft Beer Bus outside the ground along with Chai Walla street food, as well as a fan penalty shoot-out at half time and more.
