Women at the Game this Saturday

In recognition of International Women’s Day on Tuesday 8th March, Bath City FC has designated our match against Ebbsfleet this Saturday as “Women at the Game” Day. A special reception for women from the club and community is being generously sponsored by our good friends from Edible Art. We are keen to encourage and celebrate female participation in both playing and watching football as well as marking this as an important day to celebrate women’s achievements and raise awareness about equality.

At Bath City FC, we are fortunate to have a plethora of amazing women who work, volunteer and make a difference within our community, as well as support the team,  and today we wanted to say thank you for all their hard work for us.

As well as welcoming Bath MP Wera Hobhouse, some of our key volunteers and more, we’d like to invite a limited number of supporters to the reception, starting at 1.30pm. Please contact us now if you’d like to join the group on Saturday, letting us know if you would like to bring up to one extra person with you. Places are strictly limited and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

Edible Art are not only sponsoring the reception but also donating some of their delicious gateaux and pastries for our special guests to enjoy in the John Reynolds Lounge. If you would like to sample their full range of sweet treats please visit their patisserie at North Parade Passage, adjacent to the Abbey Green

Owned by pastry chef and football fan Damien Wager, Edible Art Patisserie Bath opened on the 18th September 2022. Offering a wide selection of macarons, chocolates and petit gateaux, Edible Art is the perfect spot for a coffee & cake catch up or to get a special gift for a loved one.
