The Player Pledge has now been updated and replaced by the City Squad Builder. All existing donors to the Pledge are automatically transferred to the new programme.
The 2017-18 season saw plenty of progress made on and off the pitch, with the team finishing ninth in the Vanarama National League South and League crowds up 11%. After replacing Gary Owers in October, new manager Jerry Gill set about changing the team’s style of play. Thanks to the £9,000 raised by The Pledge last season, the managers were able to do bring in players such as Luke Southwood, Tom Smith and Opi Edwards on loan plus the experienced Matt Richards.
Play your part in helping get the best players on the pitch for The Romans by signing up to the Bath City Pledge. We’re asking fans that can afford it to donate £10 per month via a monthly standing order, or you can donate more if you wish. All money raised will be ring-fenced for the 2018-19 playing budget, and you’ll get your name (if you want it) in the programme every match as a gesture of our thanks.
