Player News – Momodou Touray

We welcome Momodou Touray to the Club, having joined on loan from Salford City on loan until the New Year.

Mo is 22, a Welsh international at U19 and U21 level, and joined Salford from Newport County in 2020.  During his time at Newport, Mo had successful goal scoring loan spells at Barry Town and subsequently was loaned from Salford to Marine during the 2020/21 season and played a significant part in their FA Cup run.

Jerry commented “I am delighted to secure Mo on loan until the New Year. He is a player I have been aware of for some time from his time at Newport County. He is a powerful, dynamic attacking player with good technical ability and has an eye for goal. He has the right character and attitude to be able to fit smoothly into our squad. Competition for places within our squad is so vital and with Mo coming in it means we can be flexible in systems and personnel at any given time.”
