Player News – James Morton, Harrison Minturn & Sev Streczen

With pre-season coming to an end and the real business of the season starting with a trip to Sholing FC tomorrow, we are delighted to announce three additions to the first team squad.

Midfielder, James Morton, who needs no introduction to City fans having played 84 times in City colours while on loan from Bristol City, returns after leaving Southend United. Manager, Scott Bartlett, said “James is a player I know well having sold him to Southend where he enjoyed a lot of success. He should be and likely will play higher up the pyramid again but it’s a funny market at present with some brilliant players available. I am excited to bring a player and person of James calibre to Bath City.”

Also joining is young defender, Harrison Minturn, who made 36 appearances for Swindon Town and has had loan spells at Chippenham Town and Gloucester City. Scott commented “Harrison has been on our radar for some time having left Swindon in the summer. He has EFL experience and all the tools to kick on again. He has settled in really well and we are excited to be working with another excellent young player.”

Academy forward Sewercyn Streczen has registered with the first team having featured in pre-season matches. On the signing, Scott said “Young Sev has come in and earned his opportunity and looks every bit a player than can affect our first team positively.”

We welcome them as part of our first team for what we hope will be an entertaining and exciting season and look forward to seeing them in action.
