End of Season Presentation held at Twerton Park this evening

City held their End of Season Presentation Evening at Twerton Park tonight with defender Robbie Cundy the big winner. Having already been named Supporters’ Player of the Year, he also picked up the Players’ Player and Managers Player awards. Goal of the season won was by James Morton, for his strike against Slough Town, with Freddie Hinds opener against Torquay runner-up and Sean Riggs’ winning goal at Hampton & Richmond Borough third. Ross Stearn picked up the Golden Boot award for his 14 goals during the season.

Long serving kit-man John Forster received a Lifetime Achievement Award whilst departing physio Lee Williams was presented with an Outstanding Service Award. Cheryl Bradley was named the Supporter of the Year and Dylan Merritt picked up the young supporter award. And young helper Lulu was named Foundation Volunteer of the Season.

Over 100 players, officials, supporters and sponsors enjoyed an excellent meal provided by Yum Yum Thai whilst watching highlights of the successful 2018-19 season. Manager Jerry Gill spoke to the assembled audience about the season just gone and looked forward to the 2019-20 campaign, and a raffle and Head/Tails game (won by striker Andy Watkins) helped raised funds for the club.
