City v Chelmsford City Match Preview

The Romans line up against The Clarets this Saturday in our last home game of the year looking to climb back into the play-off places. Having been unable to find that vital equaliser away to Barnet in the FA Trophy last Saturday, all eyes are now fully focused on the league and a chance to stay firmly in the mix. Chelmsford sit in sixth position, three places above City with 32 points to our 30 and we have a game in hand, so this is an important match in the play-off fight. Our visitors won 3-0 away at Weston earlier in the month, but lost 2-0 at second bottom East Thurrock on the Saturday before – so as we know, form can be fickle in this division.

Jerry Gill and the team will be hoping for your vocal support to help deliver an early Christmas present of three points. We look forward to seeing you at the match!
