Thanks to the incredible support from our community through this crowdfunder and generous offline contributions, we have now secured the funding needed to unlock the floodlight grant.
This means the new floodlights can go ahead, with work scheduled to begin May 2026.
The response from supporters and sponsors has been fantastic and shows how much the club means to the community.
While replacing the floodlights was the most urgent priority, there is still important work needed at the ground ahead of next season.
This season has shown the impact of poor drainage in one area of the pitch, with fixtures affected by wet weather. To prepare for next season, our next priority is to address this.
The next phase of this fundraising campaign will focus on essential drainage work in the most affected corner of the pitch, a £20,00 project that will reduce the risk of cancelled matches.
This is the first step in a wider, phased plan to improve the entire pitch over time.
Every pound raised from this point forward will go directly towards this work and future ground improvements.
