Match Preview – Maidenhead United (A) – Enterprise National League South
City are back in Enterprise National League South action tomorrow evening when they head up the M4 to face mid-table Maidenhead United at York Road.
PREVIOUS MEETINGS
After one success in their first 17 v City, Maidenhead have now won the last four including September’s eye-catching 4-0 success at Cannon Clarke Stadium @ Twerton Park. Tuesday’s re-arranged trip to Berkshire will be the Romans’ first game at York Road since November 2016. Harry Pritchard, now in his second spell for the Magpies, opened the scoring with a stunner, with prolific Dave Tarpey adding a second following a defensive mix-up. Manny Monthe pulled one back as City fought for a leveller despite losing Frankie Artus to a harsh second yellow card. Shaquille Hunter also had a penalty saved in a frustrating afternoon. Maidenhead went on to win National League South, Gary Owers’ City finished 9th.
