Ten man City suffer heavy Hampton defeat

City’s trip to West London ended in disappointment this evening as they suffered a 4-0 defeat to Hampton & Richmond Borough and finished the game with ten men. Two Inman headers, in the 22nd and 43rd minutes, from corners had set the hosts on their way to the comfortable win. It could had been ever worse for City at the break after Fisher’s 44th minute shot crashed against the post. Just before the hour mark City spurned a great chance to get back into the game when Jordan Dyer could only divert a Ben Seymour flick onto the underside of the bar from six yards out. This miss was made more costly ten minutes later when substitute Tom Richards saw red for two quick cautions. Hampton took full advantage of their extra man, Miller-Rodney slotting home in the 73rd minute before Robinson complete the scoring six minutes from time with a neat finish.
