21-year old Richard joined City on loan from Charlton Athletic in February 2024. The Bexley-born player is of Malaysian and Seychellois descent, and recently featured for the former’s U23 side. He joined the Addicks at the age of six, signing his first professional contract in July 2021, making his first-team debut in the EFL Trophy on 10 November 2021. He had his contact extended until the end of the 23/24 season in March 2023 then joined Dartford on loan until the end of the season. He returned to Princes Park for a second loan spell in November 2023.
