Once part of the original Bath City Ladies side, Ali overcame a knee injury to return as vice-captain of the first team in their inaugural season. For 2023/24 she played for the development side but also assisted Manager Callum Heal. Ali also plays walking football for her local side Peasedown Albion and The South Ladies WFC.
