Experienced forward Isaac joined City in February 2024 after spending time rehabilitating from long term injury with Bristol Rovers. Born in Newquay he joined the youth setup at Plymouth Argyle in 2005, making his professional debut on the opening day of the 2011/12 season. He spent loan spells with Truro City, Bideford and Weymouth during the next three season before joining the first of those clubs permanently in July 2014 following his release by Argyle. He spent two seasons with the White Tigers where his performances drew the attention of Luton Town and, after a successful trial, he joined the Hatters in July 2016. After over 40 games for Luton, scoring 10 goals, he joined Birmingham City for a rumoured fee of over £1m in July 2017. An impressive start for his new club was halted by a serious knee injury in October, which side-lined him for 14 months. Despite this long absence he joined Cardiff City on a three-year deal in August 2019. He netted the winning goal against his former club Luton on debut but a succession of further injuries saw him make just two more appearance for the Bluebirds, the last of these in September 2019, and he was released at the end of his contract in June 2022.
