Much travelled forward Reuben joined City in July 2026. The Bristol born striker joined Plymouth Argyle Academy in 2005 having choosen football over cricket, where he played for Gloucestershire second XI. He earned his first professional contract in February 2006 making his first team debut in the final game of that season. He would spent much of the next two seasons out on loan at various clubs and was released at the end of the 2007/08 season. He joined Rotherham United and was an immediate hit with the Millers’, going on to score 19 goals in 41 games that season. This earned him a move to West Bromwich Albion but he struggled to hold down a first team place and spent loan spells with Peterborough United and Walsall. In January 2011 he joined Oldham United. He spent two seasons with the Latics, although the second was disrupted by injury and he was released at the end of the 2011/12 campaign. Moving back to the West Country he joined Yeovil Town in July 2012 before returning to Plymouth in January 2013 on loan. This loan was extended the following season where he scored 21 goals and won the player of the season award. He joined the Pilgrims permanently in June 2014, scoring a further 25 goals over the next two seasons. Spells with Exeter City, Forest Green Rovers and Cheltenham Town followed before he re-joined Yeovil Town – now in the National League – in January 2021. He would then spend three seasons with Weston Super Mare then a single campaign at Weymouth.
