Next Match – Havant & Waterlooville (H) – Southern League Premier South

19 Oct 2026

City begin a run for four successive home games in three competitions tomorrow night when Havant & Waterlooville head up from the South Coast for a Southern League Premier South meeting.

PREVIOUS MEETINGS

These two have met frequently since Havant Town and Waterlooville’s merger in 1998, and there isn’t much between them in the overall records. The first encounter between the two was a League Cup tie in February 2000 which Havant won 1-0, before the league fixture four days later ended 1-1. City are unbeaten in their last seven against the Hawks with Scott Wilson’s double the difference the last time they met here in the league in September 2023. Havant’s last win over the Romans was almost exactly six years ago – 24 October 2020 – in an FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round tie played behind close doors during the pandemic. Tommy Wright, Roarie Deacon and Theo Widdrington netted in a comfortable 3-0 success for Paul Doswell’s side, who eventually lost in round two to Marine, missing out on Tottenham Hotspur a stage later.
