Marketing Director vacancy at Bath City FC

Community-owned Bath City Football Club is looking to appoint a new volunteer Marketing Director to help drive forward a vital new phase of its development.

With highest ever revenues in 2022/23 and crowds reaching 40-year highs, City have embarked on an exciting new season that sees seven local derbies including home matches against Yeovil Town and Torquay United, and preparation for the installation of a 3G pitch in the summer of 2024 ready for seven-day-a-week community use.

Our current Marketing Director is stepping down from the Board after seven years of helping to nearly double crowds at Twerton Park, leaving in place a strong structure of dedicated volunteers and processes.

Departing director Jon Bickley said, “Being a director of Bath City has been one of the must fulfilling and proudest things I’ve done in my life. Due to changing demands at my own business I’ve had to step aside at City now, but this is a brilliant opportunity for someone to make a real impact with our amazing club.”

Do you think you could make a difference at Bath City? The role would suit someone with direct B2C marketing experience looking to develop new skills or perhaps someone with a longer track record ready to give something back to your community, and with the capacity to dedicate some time each week to the club.

Contact Chairman Nick Blofeld in confidence if you would like to discuss this role.
