Manager Scott Bartlett comments on retiring Alex Fisher

Following the earlier announcement of the 2026/27 retained list and the news that Alex Fisher is headed into retirement, manager Scott Bartlett spoke warmly of the striker:

“Alex and I have a good relationship, we are not in a position to discuss a new contract at the moment and Alex is exploring the possibility of retirement and also has an interest in the business side of football. However, he enjoyed the end of the season so we have agreed to stay in touch, so you never know! I wouldn’t be surprised to see Alex’s boots back on but if the end of the season does turn out to be Alex’s last games then I am glad he signed off a brilliant career with us at Bath City,”
