Premier Lounge Transformed: A Huge Thank You to T R Hayes
With our first home game of the new season kicking off this evening, we’re delighted to unveil the stunning transformation of the T R Hayes Lounge. this was a project delivered in just a matter of weeks thanks to the generous support and personal involvement of our long-standing lounge sponsor, Richard Hayes
When the idea of refreshing the T R Hayes Lounge was first raised earlier this summer, nobody could have predicted quite how quickly it would come together – or how impressive the end result would be.
From the very beginning, Richard Hayes was involved at every stage. Rather than simply writing a cheque and stepping back, Richard took a hands-on approach… sourcing replacement furniture, supplying a brand-new entrance coir mat, arranging the new lighting installation and overseeing the redesign of the lounge signage. His commitment to getting the project finished in time for the new season made all the difference.
The transformation has been remarkable. Gone are the tired old radiator covers, the worn furniture and the dated décor. In their place: fresh white walls and skirtings, stylish new lighting that finally does justice to the space, new matching tables, updated signage and a room that genuinely feels fit for purpose on a match day.
The painting work was carried out by Jamie Witt, a Bath City supporter and trusted local contractor who has worked with the club on previous projects. His initial work was completed over the weekend of 27 and 28 June and the results speak for themselves.
