City v Concord Rangers – FA Trophy Replay – Matchday Information

The Romans take on fellow Vanarama National League South side Concord Rangers at Twerton Park on Tuesday. A victory will secure a place in the last 16 of the FA Trophy! Kick off – 7:45pm. With neither downpours nor frost forecast this week, City will at last take on Concord in our twice rearranged FA Trophy second round replay at Twerton Park this Tuesday evening.

The Romans will be looking to bounce back fast after Saturday’s humbling at Wealdstone, but know that an unbeaten home run stretching back to August gives them great foundations to build from. The Beachboys have lost at home to Weymouth and drawn away at Eastbourne since our tightly fought encounter on Canvey Island, whilst City ran out 2-0 winners over Hemel Hempstead in our last home fixture.

The prize of a third round home tie against mid-table National League North Leamington awaits the victor of a match that must be played to a conclusion on the night, with the chance of extra time and penalties under the floodlights.
