City slip to narrow home defeat against Royal Wootton Bassett Town

City failed to score at home for the first time this season to slip to a second successive league defeat against Royal Wootton Bassett Town at Cannon Clarke Stadium @ Twerton Park this afternoon. City created the only half-chances of a low-key first half but fell behind five minutes after the interval through Taylor’s close-range finish. They pushed hard for an equaliser but this turned out to the decisive goal.
