City denied by controversial late goal
Nat Goodright’s controversial 95th minute leveller cost Bath City Women two points at Royal Wootton Bassett Town Ladies. Laura Jefferies’ near post corner appeared to be handled by Libby Davies, and with Sadie Farley obstructed the ball fell to Goodright who placed home from 10 yards in one of the last touches of the game. The point keeps City’s unbeaten 2024 intact and realistically they need seven points from nine available to clinch a creditable third. The draw also means Poole Town Ladies are champions.
