Change in Coaching set up for City Women

Bath City Women Assistant Manager Adam Casserly has announced that he is stepping down from the position to concentrate on his other coaching responsibilities. Callum Heal will take over as Assistant Manager and joins Goal Keeping coach Graeme Colman as part of the Bath City Women First team coaching staff. Heal has played for various local teams and is currently Player/Coach at Shepton Mallet.

Manager Matt Abreu said; “We’d like to thank Adam for everything that he has done for Bath City Women. He has been a great support but we recognise that with his other work commitments on Saturdays, working with us on Sundays has been a challenge. We wish him all the best. I’m delighted that Callum Heal has agreed to step up as Assistant Manager. He has worked with us a fair bit this season already and I know brings fresh thinking and enthusiasm that the players respond really well to. I’m delighted that between Graeme and Callum we have a really strong coaching team that can help push the First team through to the end of the season.”

Adam Casserly said; “I’ve loved my time with Bath City Women and it has been really rewarding to help start up the team, get promoted in our first season and now have two women’s teams making their mark on women’s football in Bath. I’m sad to be leaving but I need to focus on getting my work/life balance in better shape and I’m looking forward to being able to spend more time with my young family”.

Callum Heal said; “I’m thrilled to be taking up this position. I know that Matt sets high standards for Bath City Women and is ambitious to develop further. I’m really keen to play my part in this and can’t wait to get started.”
