Cannon Clarke Stadium Sponsorship deal announced
In a new and exciting sponsorship deal for Bath City Football Club, we are delighted to announce that a local and long-established company, Cannon Clarke Ltd, will become Stadium sponsor for 2025/26.
There was no desire by long-term supporter and director of Cannon Clarke Ltd, David Clarke, to lose the Twerton Park name so Cannon Clarke Stadium @Twerton Park will be the “go to” destination in the future.
The club was delighted to have concluded this deal that is positive for both Bath City Football Club and Cannon Clarke Ltd.
David Clarke, Cannon Clarke Ltd Founder & CEO said, “As a lifelong supporter of Bath City Football Club – it all began in the early 1960’s when my Dad took me to watch as a young boy in the Charlie Fleming era and I was hooked! – it gives me the greatest pleasure to have this opportunity to firstly help the club with some meaningful financial sponsorship and secondly; to have my Bath based company, Cannon Clarke Ltd, closely associated with Bath City and the historic and increasingly iconic ‘old school’ Twerton Park Football Stadium as Stadium sponsors.
It is very important at this level of football, especially with it being a Community owned club where every penny counts, for local people, businesses, and supporters to help as much as possible and whenever possible to keep the club going in the right direction.
With Darren Way working very hard to get a competitive playing squad together for the coming season, in a League which is getting tougher to compete in each year, I felt that this was the right time to try and do something extra to help that process along.
A big thank you to Director Paul Williams for the time and effort he has put in to getting this deal agreed and completed and I look forward very much to the new season starting, for some success & entertainment on the pitch …. and dare I say it, maybe a decent FA Cup run as well! “.
Paul Williams commented “It was a pleasure to work with David on this partnership with Cannon Clarke Ltd as receiving support from local businesses is a vital part of bringing success to the club moving forward. The club is appreciative of all who support it currently and look forward to welcoming others who may wish to be involved in the future.”
