Hari Sabic’s 96th minute wonder strike rescued a point for Bath City.
Darcy Baber’s brace appeared to be enough for Paulton at a balmy Twerton Park.
But the former Bosnia international hammered home her 21st goal of the season with almost the last kick of the game to send her teammates into raptures.
City nearly got off to a dream start when Laura Coggins headed against the bar and slammed home from the follow-up cross, but Tanea Wright was deemed offside in the build-up.
Rovers took the lead when Baber’s corner somehow squeezed directly in at the near post.
City levelled within 10 minutes when Tanea Wright’s free-kick flew into the roof of the net past Emily Quinn.
Quinn denied Jasmine Rennie with her legs before Baber recorded her second of the game.
A free-kick 25 yards out proved too much for Poppy Yates, as the ball was placed out of her reach into the top corner.
City enjoyed large spells of possession in the second half with Liv Davis poking Rennie’s corner straight at Quinn, who also denied Rennie when Mollie Harvey’s ball over the top put her through.
Sabic headed against the bar as City piled on the pressure, before the striker was the hero in added time with a stunning shot on the turn from 30 yards which gave Quinn no chance.
