Next Match – Uxbridge (H) – Southern League Premier South
It is fourth versus second at Cannon Clarke Stadium @ Twerton Park on Saturday when Uxbridge head down the M4 to face the Romans.
PREVIOUS MEETINGS
For the third home game running, Bath City host a side they’ve not faced in their history. Uxbridge were founder members of the Southern League in 1894 but had left by the end of the century, over 20 years before City joined it for the first time.
TRIVIA
- City’s last game on 29 August was a 5-1 win over Slough Town in 2022. A Cody Cooke hat-trick largely did the damage at Twerton, in a game remembered for Slough having to change their shirts early in the game due to a clash. They wore an old sky blue City away kit for the remainder of the contest.
- Former Slough man Francis Amartey is one of five Uxbridge players who’ve faced the Romans before. Jack Burchell was sent off at Twerton in August 2024 for Welling.
- If he plays, James Morton will make his 100th appearance for the club.
FORM
- Bath City are unbeaten in their first four matches of a league season for the first time since 2019/20. They have two wins and two draws.
- Uxbridge are one of the three teams above the Romans. Just goal difference is keeping them off the top, they beat Taunton Town 5-4 on Saturday in the highest scoring game in the division this season so far.
