Cannon Clarke Renew Stadium Sponsorship for 2026/27 Season

Cannon Clarke will continue as the club’s stadium sponsor for the 2026/27 season, with the ground retaining the name The Cannon Clarke Stadium @ Twerton Park.

The renewal keeps the partnership intact for a second successive season, with the iconic Twerton Park name once again retained as part of the title in recognition of its historic significance to the club and its supporters.

David Clarke, CEO and MD said:

I am delighted to be able to renew the Cannon Clarke Stadium Sponsorship for the new season. Once again, I insisted that the iconic Twerton Park ground name stayed as part of the naming rights, as it is such an important part of Bath City’s long & historic tradition.

Our first season on board as Stadium Sponsors last year was unfortunately disappointing on the pitch, but with new Manager Scott Bartlett now in charge, hopes & enthusiasm for the new season are very high.

With the Stadium having had a real tidy up, including new floodlights, this summer, everyone is hoping the club can put in a very strong promotion push to get back into the National League as quickly as possible & I hope this Sponsorship will go some way in helping towards that goal.

My thanks to Chairman David McDonagh for facilitating this deal with my company and for all his very hard work since he became Chairman, alongside, of course, all the many other club volunteers, without whom the club would cease to exist.

I am proud, as a long-term supporter and running a Bath based local business, to be associated with the club in this way and wish Scott every success this season.

Chairman David McDonagh welcomed the news, paying tribute to the wider impact the sponsorship has on the club:

Securing Cannon Clarke’s continued support as our Stadium Sponsor is fantastic news for everyone connected with Bath City. Sponsorship at this level has a real and direct impact right across the club — from the first team and coaching staff through to our community work and the matchday experience for every supporter who comes through the turnstiles.

David Clarke has been a tremendous partner since day one. The fact that he is so passionate about the club as a long-term supporter himself makes this so much more than just a business arrangement — he genuinely cares about where Bath City is heading, and that means a great deal to all of us.

As we go into what I believe will be an exciting season under Scott Bartlett, having this kind of backing gives the whole club a real lift. I’d encourage other local businesses to follow David’s lead — get involved, invest in your club, and be part of the journey.

Bath City would like to thank David Clarke and Cannon Clarke for their continued support of the club and the wider community.
