Update on the summer works at Cannon Clarke Stadium @ Twerton Park

Many supporters will have seen the recent social media updates showing the removal of the old pylons, a significant milestone in the ongoing improvement of our ground. While that project has understandably attracted plenty of attention, it’s only one part of a much wider programme of work taking place behind the scenes.

Over recent months, volunteers and staff have helped deliver a range of important improvements aimed at enhancing both the matchday experience and accessibility for everyone visiting the ground.

At the Bristol End, work has been completed on the new “York Gate”, providing improved accessible access and helping make the ground more welcoming for all supporters. Alongside this, changes to toilet arrangements have improved comfort on matchdays.

Significant work has also taken place in and around the bar areas, creating a more attractive and functional space for supporters to meet before and after games. These improvements are the result of countless volunteer hours and demonstrate what can be achieved when the club community comes together.

Of course, there is always more to do. That’s why we’re encouraging everyone who cares about the future of the club to get involved in Paint the Park, taking place at the end of June. Whether you can spare a couple of hours or a full day, every contribution helps us continue improving our home and ensuring it remains a ground we can all be proud of.
