Match Preview – Eastbourne Borough (A) – Enterprise National League South
New manager Scott Bartlett takes charge of the Romans for the first time tomorrow afternoon, with a long trip to face Eastbourne Borough at Connect Management Stadium.
PREVIOUS MEETINGS
Bartlett’s first game in charge is against familiar opposition – this is the 14th successive season where the Romans have played Eastbourne at this level. Their first meeting was in September 2003 in the Southern League, the final year before the introduction of Conference (now National League) South. They also met twice in Conference Premier in 2010/11, a year where Eastbourne were relegated. City followed them a season after.
