Staff News – Lee Kendall returns to City as assistant manager

We are pleased to announce that Lee Kendall is returning to the Club as assistant manager.

Lee was part of the staff last season and left in the summer to join Newport County as full-time goalkeeping coach. Owing to family reasons, Lee left his full-time role in mid-November and has now joined City as number 2 to Darren Way.

Welcome back Kends.

“I am delighted to be back at Bath City as I really enjoyed my time here last year. As a family we found ourselves navigating some difficult circumstances recently with my mother becoming very ill and I had to step away from my full-time role to care for her. She passed away just over two weeks ago and Darren reached out to me and said that he was looking for an assistant and would I be interested. He obviously knew my current circumstances and knew this position could potentially help me also. The role works perfectly for me as it’s part-time and I still have time to focus on looking after my family and helping them following what’s happened. It’s a great chance again to work with a manager who is first class and a great group of staff, players and fans and also hopefully add value to the club myself. There are some familiar faces who understand what I’ve been through, so really looking forward to catching up with them over the next few home games and beyond. I’d like to thank Darren and the board for the opportunity to come back to Bath City.”
