Volunteers Bring Twerton Park to Life at ‘Paint the Park’ Weekend

Over 50 volunteers joined forces over the Bank Holiday weekend to give Twerton Park a fresh facelift ahead of the 2025/26 season.

A massive thank you goes out to everyone who rolled up their sleeves and took part in this year’s Paint the Park event. Across two days, an incredible team of more than 50 supporters, friends, and community members came together with brushes, tools, and buckets in hand—united by one mission: to get Twerton Park shining in time for the new season.

“It’s not just about paint and repairs—this was a show of true community spirit. Twerton Park looks fantastic, and it’s all thanks to you.”

What We Achieved Together

Over the course of the weekend, volunteers tackled a wide range of essential tasks. From repainting the stands and dressing rooms to carrying out vital safety checks, fixing fencing, weeding, cleaning signage, and even pressure-washing terraces, no job was too big or too small. The result? A ground that not only looks the part but is also safer and more welcoming for fans and players alike.

Club staff and board members worked shoulder to shoulder with supporters, underlining the spirit of collaboration that lies at the heart of Bath City FC.

“As a community-owned club run by volunteers, your support isn’t just appreciated—it’s essential.”

Why It Matters

Paint the Park has become a staple of our pre-season preparations. But it’s more than just a clean-up—it’s a reflection of the club’s values. Bath City FC is powered by the passion and dedication of its supporters. In a world of commercial clubs and corporate control, we do things differently—and events like this are a testament to that.

We’re not just getting ready for kick-off. We’re building something special, together.

Thank You

To everyone who gave up their time, energy, and skills: thank you. Your contribution is seen, felt, and deeply appreciated. You’ve helped ensure that Twerton Park is not only match-ready but also a proud home for the community.

We can’t wait to welcome you all back through the gates soon. Let’s make this season one to remember—on and off the pitch.
