Supporters Society Election Results
Pete McCormack and the Supporters Society Committee are pleased to announce the successful election and appointment of new members to the Club Board, most of whom you should be familiar with by now as they were co-opted or have been shadowing the incumbent for a while.
David McDonagh takes over from Nick Blofeld as Chair of the Board, where his IT and financial experience has already been very valuable. As with so many Directors, Nick will stay involved in the background in helping on the redevelopment project, supporting Tom Benjamin on the commercial side and working with David on an energy and sustainability project with the University of Bath.
Dan Smith is elected to the Community Director role, where he has already added value with his local knowledge and network of contacts. He will also work closely Debbie Norris who joins as the Supporter Laison Officer, where she will be able to give feedback from the home and travelling supporters, as she knows so many of you well.
David Mathews is confirmed as Marketing Director where he brings great experience, especially of digital marketing, and a good understanding of football, with a son and daughter who are both playing at a high level.
The commercial team still needs some additional help as Gareth Cooper has had to step back for a while due to growing work and family commitments. So, if you have some time and interest do get in touch with Tom (tom.benjamin@bathcityfootballclub.co.uk), as we would love to hear from you.
We would like to thank the new joiners as well as existing Board members for their continued unpaid, hard work in running the club and keeping it on a sensible financial footing.
