Shirt Sponsor Draw Winner – Rocketmakers

Following the Bath City FC shirt sponsorship draw, in the Abel & Imray Stand at Twerton Park (outside and socially distanced) on Wednesday evening 30th June,  Bath City Football Club is delighted to announce the winner of the draw was Rocketmakers:

Richard Godfrey, a Bath City season ticket holder and CEO at Rockemakers said, “We’re so excited and thankful to have won the draw this season and really want to use this opportunity to thank all the amazing staff and volunteers at Bath City for everything they do for the club and the community. It was great to have such a fantastic atmosphere at the draw with all the other sponsors who really care about the club, and to hear such positivity and commitment from Jerry, Tom and Omar! It really feels like this could be the year! Rocketmakers are a Bath-based software app company that loves to support new, innovative local businesses and we are incredibly proud that our company logo will be on the team shirts in our promotion season!”

The photograph shows Richard Godfrey, shortly after the draw was completed, in front of the hoarding that he already has at Twerton Park.

Rocketmakers logo will be displayed on the front of Bath City’s first team home and away shirts for the coming season.

Second prize was won by Minuteman Press, who print Bath City’s match day programme and will have their company name on the back of the shirts for next season and Dave Dixon, Marketing Director, Minuteman Press, commented, “We are proud to have been printers of Bath City FC’s match day programme for 23 years and are delighted to this year to be back of the shirt sponsor, we wish the club all the best for the upcoming season.”

Third prize was won by Dorothy House and this was kindly donated by Rocketmakers who had 2 entries in the draw (Gold Member) and had their other number drawn out thirdly. There is a back story to this as City fan Colin Appleby had entered the draw and had nominated Dorothy House as the name he wanted on the shirt if he won and Emily Aspin from Dorothy House, who was at the draw, was delighted by this sequence of events.

Other prize winners were Steve Rose Electrical Contractor, Yum Yum Thai and Bath Ales

The club would like to thank the 60 entrants (53 businesses) in the draw and look forward to their further involvement in the coming season – their support is particularly appreciated in these challenging times. All entrants will be part of the Bath City FC Sponsors Club for season 2021-2022.

The draw was filmed by Dave Phillips and can viewed here. Before the draw was made Mark Stillman interviewed new signing Omar Holness and Tom Smith plus Jerry Gill also answered questions.
