Former City midfielder Scott was appointed Bath City FC manager in March 2026.

As a player he began his career on the books of AFC Bournemouth before joining Cirencester Town. He joined Salisbury City in February 2000 and soon became a permanent fixture in the Whites side. After nine years with the club – where he made over 400 appearances – a change in employment that involved additional travelling saw him switch to Weston. He was named captain with the Seagulls but when City made an approach in February 2010 for him he made the switch to Twerton Park. Injury restricted Scott to just ten appearances for the Romans and he joined Forest Green Rovers for the 2010/11 season. Further injury problems forced his retirement the following year and he was subsequently named Academy manager at the Gloucestershire club.

In October 2016 he was appointed Weston Super Mare manager. He helped the Seagulls retain their National League South status before returning to Forest Green in his previous role. In the summer of 2019 he was back at Weston and would spend six successful years leading the side including winning the Southern League Premier South title in 2023. In September 2025 he was named manager at National League Eastleigh. He parted company with the Spitfires in February 2026.
