Player News – Owen Windsor and Matt Bowman join the Romans
With November gearing up to be the busiest month of the season so far, we are delighted to announce two new signings ahead of tomorrow’s match at home to Horsham.
Striker Owen Windsor joins fresh from a spell playing for Metro Stars in Australia. In three years at West Bromwich Albion, Owen had loan spells at EFL clubs, Grimsby, Newport and Carlisle before gaining National League time at Chippenham Town and Chester. We look forward to seeing Owen in action in the black & white stripes.
22 year old midfielder Matt Bowman, scorer of Larkhall’s second goal in our thrilling FA Cup tie at Plain Ham, is a student at Bath University and started his career in his home city of Geneva with Servette FC. Matt is looking forward to the challenge of the step up to the Enterprise National League South and we wish him well. We thank Larkhall for their assistance in this move.
With four league matches, including the re-arranged Tonbridge Angels fixture on 11th November, and a FA Trophy tie at the Cannon Clarke Stadium @ Twerton Park in November, we look forward to some exciting and hopefully successful moments in the coming weeks.
