Match Preview – Tonbridge Angels (A) – Enterprise National League South
City are back on the road tomorrow when they head to Kent to face mid-table Tonbridge Angels at the Yeomans Community Stadium.
PREVIOUS MEETINGS
City have a good record against Angels, losing just two of their 14 clashes at this level. Last year’s meeting in Kent was a dire 0-0 draw, the first time City failed to score away at Tonbridge in National League South. The most recent meeting ended 1-1 at Twerton in November, with Bunmi Babajide’s opener for the visitors cancelled out by Owen Windsor’s first goal for the Romans.
Overall record v Tonbridge Angels:

National League South:

TRIVIA
- The arranged second meeting between the two at Tonbridge in 2019/20 didn’t take place – it was scheduled for the final match of the season but the campaign was decided on a PPG basis following the Covid-19 outbreak.
- Both of Tonbridge’s National League South wins over City were in 2023, the second in October at Longmead when full-back Joe Raynes was forced to play the second half in goal after an injury to Ollie Wright.
