Match Preview – Slough Town (A) – Enterprise National League South
City’s busy November continues tomorrow evening when they face Slough Town at Arbour Park in a vital Enterprise National League South clash.
PREVIOUS MEETINGS
This is the eighth season running where Slough Town will meet Bath City in National League South. Both home teams were victorious last year which keeps their head-to-head competitive. Five of the first seven meetings between the two were in cup competitions. This included a memorable 4-2 FA Trophy win for the Romans in January 1991 at Wexham Park from 0-2 behind as Sean Lundon, Keith Brown, Tiv Lowe and Phil Underhill responded after the break. It exacted revenge on losing by the same scoreline to then-lower division Slough in the first meeting between the two nine years previous. City’s biggest win over the Berkshire outfit was a 5-1 success in August 2022 with Cody Cooke notching a hat-trick in a game also remembered for Slough having to change their shirts early on to a past Bath City away strip following a kit clash.
