PREVIOUS MEETINGS

August’s draw ended Ebbsfleet’s six-game winning streak against City. Dominic Samuel cancelled out Scott Wilson’s early opener for the Romans in an entertaining contest at the Kuflink Stadium. The Kent side’s last visit to Twerton was in February 2023 where they won 3-1 – all the goals in an eventful first half which also saw City lose three players to injury. Sonny Cox netted the consolation for Jerry Gill’s men. The two first met in 1947, the first 63 contests were under Ebbsfleet’s former name Gravesend & Northfleet.

TRIVIA

  • City haven’t lost their first league game of a calendar year since 2016 when Maidstone United’s 2-0 success at Twerton proved to be Lee Howells’ last home game in charge.
  • Ebbsfleet’s last loss away to Bath City was in April 2015 when a Dave Pratt double clinched victory in a 2-1 win.
  • The attendance for that re-arranged game was 309. Excluding matches played behind closed doors it’s City’s fourth lowest home attendance for a National League South fixture, the other three were all recorded in the same season (2014/15).

FORM

  • Bath City ended 2025 with a goalless draw at home to high-flying Torquay United – they’re now unbeaten in six in all competitions at Cannon Clarke Stadium @ Twerton Park.
  • Ebbsfleet have won four in a row in all comps, defeating Kent rivals Tonbridge Angels and Dover Athletic over the festive period after getting the better of Essex opposition Chelmsford City and Braintree Town, the latter in the FA Trophy.
