TRIVIA

  • Saturday will be Darren Way’s 50th match in charge of Bath City. It’ll be his fourth game against Dorking Wanderers, the side he’s faced most during his tenure.
  • Should he feature, Jack Batten will make his 350th appearance for City. His debut was in the same competition, a defeat at Bognor Regis Town in November 2015.
  • Jason Prior scored the winner from the spot that afternoon. He also netted a penalty against City in August, plus the only goal in Dorking’s 1-0 success on the Romans’ last visit in January this year – Way’s first defeat in charge.

FORM

  • Dorking Wanderers reached this stage with a 3-2 win over Eastbourne Borough last month. They overcame the same side Saturday 4-2 at home with Charlie Carter notching a hat-trick, giving them a sixth straight home win in all comps.
  • Bath City defeated Bracknell Town on penalties to progress. They arrive in Surrey on the back of a 2-0 loss at Maidstone United, a second defeat in nine in all competitions.
