Match Preview – Bristol City U21s (H) – Pre-Season Friendly

City bring the curtain down on their 2025/26 pre-season on Saturday when Bristol City send an U21 side to Cannon Clarke Stadium @ Twerton Park. It will be the final chance for manager Darren Way to see his squad in action before attention to turns to the opening weekend of the Enterprise National League South season and the trip to the South Coast to face Worthing.

PREVIOUS MEETINGS

This is the fourth year running where the Romans have taken on a youthful Bristol City side in pre-season. They’ve met the Robins’ first team many times in the summer, the most recent in 2017 when Lee Johnson’s men ran out comfortable 3-0 winners thanks to goals from Bobby De Cordova-Reid, Jamie Paterson and Joe Bryan.
