Match Report by Mark Stillman.

Hari Sabic scored four of Bath City Women Development’s five as they ran out comfortable winners over Middlezoy.

The striker, who netted 22 last term, was on fire at Peasedown Rec against the league’s bottom markers.

Captain Liv Davis was also on target in the side’s biggest win since hammering the same opponents 7-1 in January.

Back then Sabic netted three, and took just 11 minutes to get off the mark on this occasion.

A precision ball over the top from Summer Hemmings saw Sabic hold off Ilana Skelton before slamming past goalkeeper Mia Cridge.

Grace Markall shot too close to Poppy Yates soon after for Middlezoy, and they were hit by a sucker punch as Sabic made it two.

Cridge’s rushed clearance from a backpass only reached Sabic in the penalty area, and despite being off balance she managed to steer into the top corner.

Chelsea Giles’ effort was deflected wide in a crowded penalty box before the hosts’ sustained pressure saw them rewarded with a third.

Maddie Bond’s cross to the near post was only cleared to the perfectly placed Davis, who took a touch before blasting home from 10 yards, her first goal since March 2024.

Cridge’s outstanding save from Giles’ powerful drive from 18 yards kept the score at three, and she received better protection after the break as the Romans experimented with formations and personnel.

Substitute Oliwia Kozlowska went on a mazy run before her shot bounced uncomfortably in front of Cridge, who did well to bat behind.

She was powerless to prevent a fourth as Bond squeezed the ball through to Sabic, who looked up and fired low to Cridge’s right, completing her hat-trick with 13 minutes remaining.

Cridge smartly denied Sabic from similar range before last year’s Golden Boot winner completed a four goal haul in added time.

Giles skipped past a tiring backline on the wing and her driven cross was bravely met by Sabic ahead of Cridge, heading home to complete a fine afternoon individually and collectively for Callum Heal’s side.

It made it three league wins in four ahead of next Sunday’s trip to last year’s champions, Pen Mill Ladies.
