Ticket Refund & Exchange Policy

Bath City Football Club is committed to being fair and transparent with our supporters when it comes to tickets. We know plans can change, and occasionally circumstances beyond anyone’s control can affect fixtures. This policy explains how we handle refunds, exchanges, and cancellations for tickets purchased for fixtures at Cannon Clarke Stadium @ Twerton Park.

1. General Policy

  • All match tickets are sold on a non-refundable basis unless otherwise stated in this policy.
  • Refunds will not be issued for a supporter’s inability to attend once a ticket has been purchased, except in exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of the Club.

2. Postponed Fixtures

  • If a match is postponed before kick-off, all tickets remain valid for the rearranged fixture.
  • If you are unable to attend the new date, you may exchange your ticket for an alternative league match of your choice.
  • If you do not wish to exchange, you may request a refund within 14 days of the rearranged fixture being announced. Proof of purchase will be required.

3. Abandoned Matches

  • If a game is abandoned before half-time, all tickets will remain valid for the rearranged fixture. Supporters unable to attend the rearranged date can exchange their ticket for an alternative league match of their choice, or request a refund within 14 days of the new date being confirmed.
  • If the match is abandoned after half-time, the Club reserves the right not to offer refunds or exchanges.
  • The Club will review each case on a match-by-match basis, taking into account the reason for abandonment and how long the game had been played before the decision.

4. Cup Competitions & Friendlies

  • Tickets purchased for cup matches, play-offs, or friendlies are valid for that specific match only. If the game is postponed, the ticket will be valid for the rescheduled date. Refunds will only be issued if the fixture is cancelled entirely.

5. Online Purchases & Booking Fees

  • Refunds, where applicable, will cover only the face value of the ticket.

6. Season Tickets

  • Season tickets are non-refundable once the season has started.
  • If a fixture is played behind closed doors or moved to a neutral venue, the Club will communicate options to season ticket holders, which may include pro-rata credits, vouchers, or goodwill offers.
  • Replacement physical season ticket cards can be issued if lost or damaged, at a charge of £15 per card.

7. Lost or Stolen Tickets

  • Match tickets lost, stolen, or damaged will not normally be replaced or refunded. The Club may, at its discretion, issue a replacement if proof of purchase is available.

8. Community & Group Bookings

  • Discounted tickets purchased through schools, universities, or community groups are non-refundable. If a large booking is affected by a postponed game, the Club will work with the group to re-allocate tickets to a suitable fixture.

9. How to Apply for a Refund

  • All refund requests must be made in writing (via email to info@bathcityfootballclub.co.uk or at the Club office) within the timescales set out above.
  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation, receipt, or physical ticket) will be required.
  • Refunds will normally be processed to the original payment method within 10 working days.

10. Club Discretion

  • Bath City FC reserves the right to review refund and exchange requests on a case-by-case basis. Decisions taken by the Club will be final.
