City take on Havant at home this Saturday looking to build on 4-0 Poole victory

Having dispatched Poole Town with a 4-0 away win, City enter this Saturday’s home fixture against leaders Havant & Waterlooville with renewed verve and optimism. The Hawks visit Twerton Park with the best away record in the division, having won 11 of their 17 away fixtures – but lost only their third away game of the season on Tuesday evening, going down one-nil at Truro City. Havant’s success has been built on a strong defence that has only conceded 25 goals in 34 league games this season, with 52 goals scored.

City meanwhile go into the match buoyed by a convincing win at Poole which saw four goals shared among Sean Rigg, Andy Watkins, Tom Smith and Opi Edwards, along with the knowledge that they took the spoils back in August with a 2-1 win at Havant.

City currently sit in 10th position – just 3 points off a play-off place
