Much travelled striker Marvin Moran initially joined City on a season long loan deal at Twerton Park from Havant & Waterlooville in July 2016. He began his career with Wealdstone before joing Yeading for £3000 in November 2004. He helped the side to the Isthmian League Premier Division title that season, although he missed their famous FA Cup tie with Newcastle United as he was cup-tied. The Manchester born 33-year old went on to score 39 goals in 94 games for Yeading before joining Woking in May 2007. A year later he progressed into the Football League for the first time with Conference champions Aldershot Town. Also undisclosed the fee was a record for the Shots at the time and he spent three seasons with the club, netting 25 times in 93 appearances. Spells with Shrewsbury Town and Plymouth Argyle followed, plus a loan spell with Hartlepool United, before he returned to non-League football, joining Havant & Waterlooville in June 2015 on a two-year deal. He returned to Wealdstone on loan in February 2016 before joining City. Marvin, who also runs his own fashion label, Fresh Ego Kid, signed permanently for the Romans in May 2017. He had short spell with Hampton & Richmond Borough in September 2017 before returning to City in October.
