sounds like a ideal moment for scotty p or bridy a real goal poacher if you like, which would of put the chance away and put us 1 up.

Lots of very interesting and varied views of this game.
My take is that I totally agree with Yuffie's postings. It was not as bad as the thread heading suggests (it was an enthralling battling display), but, to me, despite all the effort, we have proved once more, not as if further proof was needed, that we are still someway short of being seriously strong promotion contenders. Woking apart, we have not got enough points against the main challengers (i.e. the teams we will have to play again if we reach the playoffs). Until we have a stronger attacking force we will not get promoted.
On today's game:- Forwards are just not good enough - Connelly was wasted out wide, and whenever he cut in our play became too congested in the middle, and the huge gaps we left on both sides were exploited regularly almost to our cost - Hoggy was missed - Simmo was really bad, but this is a rare occurrence - Gethin was poor in first half but good in the second half.
Plus points - the defence played really well, and they needed to! Particularly good to see a sound display (bar one ground ball fumble) by Robinson, who has picked up his form well lately - Good to see Coupe get some match play (he should ALWAYS play, in my opinion) - Sido was very good indeed.
This will not agree with some of the other posters, but if anyone is still serious about reaching the playoffs then I put it to them that this result was NOT a good point gained but two points lost.

I thought we played far to defensive , no attacking flare in midfield, not much support for darren and kaid, defence played well i thought and i know we can play a lot better than this. I am sure we will see city play a lot better on saturday with a few positional changes and lets hope the pitch improves. very disapointed no extra striker has been found yet.
