Then again probably didn't help playing alongside a new central midfielder almost every game. One of which was a certain Danny Bailey... he could have had no better mentor than the peerless danny bailey!

It was all very heated and Pridham appeared very angry...

I would still like to see Alan Pridham back in some capacity at TP, he has the gift of the Gab, larger than life character , feel sure he would be good on commercial side When he lived in Keynsham i would see him often, always positive on the club, he loved the place and the fans. Not many have put more in and taken less out of Bath City, thanks Alan

Absolute respect to the guy, but if you sign so many players a few of them should turn out OK.

AP remember was the only decent guy at that time willing to do the job for nothing. I know him well and he loves this club. He had to keep signing players as he was getting people to play for next to nothing for short periods ( name me another manager that has done that) Yes the thame game was abysmal but somewhere it was always going to fall apart. He has injected money into wsm in the past but dont know about presently. He would jump at the chance of being a part of Bath City and he would be the man to go that extra mile to persuade players to join us rather than other clubs. Ask anybody that knows him and they will tell you the same, the guy still queues up and pays his money, say no more.
By the way, certain people ( mr R davies) oops mentioned his name, will always knock prids but i always say ; dont knock somebody for trying, especially when you havnt got the balls to do it yourself!!
Up the city!!!!

Nice to see Alan Pridham at the game again, the guy has an infectious enthusiasum about him no wonder he was able to get players in when we were on the floor. Those who argue that he was a poor manager can't fail to have noticed he is a succesful business man and has a very approachable manner would make a good commercial manager type addition too the team. What a differance from the distant styles of a Gary Owers (personality of a fly) and even paul Bodin.

with the budget he had available surely he must be our most succesful manager pound for pound, if he had bodins budget i reckon he could have got us up. bodin was full time and had 3 times pridhams budget. pridham also isnt arrogant like owers was and always has time for a chat and always smiles which is good. down to earth guy and i would love to see him back at the club in some capcity. fair play for him for paying to get in as well, he could easily get a free ticket of a player.

I agree But i don't think at times he fits into the confines of a bog standard director, he opens doors with his contacts, his enthusiasum rubs off, some times his efforts must be viewed long term maybe not instant. He will promote the club too all who will listen, the way he talked players into joining us when we were down and out, if he could do the same with contacts and busineeses that would be a winner all round. If he wanted to get involved again i would have him on board anytime, the guy has something different
