Happy if it stays like that.

H+W are now 3 points behind us with a game in hand.We not only have to overtake 4 of the teams above us, we also have to be aware of those sneaking up from below.Pressure needs to be relieved with a string of wins now, or later games that we might expect to win will, with that extra pressure on us, prove too much.

Well, the good news is that pretty much every team is going to feel the same pressure. I bet there are a few clubs who've been near the top all season who might not take to it too well.

by saturday the games played would of evened up a tad (bar braintree and havant)
but on saturday these three fixtures will be very interesting
Braintree Town v Dover, 15:00 Bromley v Staines Town, 15:00 Chelmsford v Newport County, 15:00
obviously all the games are important though

obviously all the games are important though A Newport win and two draws would suit us just fine. The bottom line is that if WE keep winning ,we will be in the desired position within the month.

We shouldn't worry about other teams too much- if we win every game we'll be in the play offs. Obvioulsy I won't say no to other results going our way, but its CITY's results that matter.

couldn't agree more, davo. when you're entering the last fortnight of the season it may be that we are reliant on other teams to help us out, but our only priority should be to make sure we're still in with a shout come april. well i assume that's what the management and players will be thinking...

Makes the home game against H&W next week another 'must win' game then. Most of our squad will be used to pressure and after the last two seasons will know only too well that if they keep picking up points on a fairly regular basis, we will be there or thereabouts at the end, ready to make that final push if needed.

And, with just a hint of hypocrisy, these are the current (so I would have thought h/t scores) according to the BSQS site:
Braintree? 1-0 W-s-M (The site has Btfc so I assume Braintree) Hampton 1-0 Welling
