City to feature on BBC Match Of The Day Kickabout this Saturday

Supporters Direct recently teamed up with BBC Match Of The Day Kickabout and Bath City FC with the aim to encourage children to understand how they can be a bigger part of their football clubs as well as emphasizing the importance of volunteering.
On the 3rd November we were down at Twerton park to follow the regular group of young match day volunteers who help do a range of things at the ground each week – tasks including setting up welcome banners and PA equipment, meeting and greeting fans, organising even younger pitch-side flag-wavers and generally making the ground a welcoming venue. The volunteers did such a good job they even secured a new recruit in Ben Shires, MOTD Kickabout presenter.
The feature is due to air on the Saturday 24th November 2018 at 7.40am and will showcase the ethos behind Supporters Direct as well as the superb work at Bath City to encourage and support young volunteers.
